We are looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join our team in this 9 month fixed term parental leave cover role at our highly reputed clinic – PetVet Lower Hutt from June 2026 – Feb 2027

Your new workplace is a modern 400m2 clinic with a spacious ultrasound suite, top end digital radiography, two sterile and one non-sterile theatres. We have a solid reputation for top quality service and a strong referral base from clinics throughout Wellington, the Kapiti Coast and Wairarapa. You have the option to be either consulting only, or enjoy a balance of consulting and surgery days.

    About the role

We are looking for a GP Small Animal Vet to join our experienced and supportive team
You will ideally bring 3+ years experience, and be confident with routine surgery and consults. Areas of special interest are welcomed and supported
Applicants must hold a Veterinary Qualification that is recognised in New Zealand to be eligible to register to practice here. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role, however Veterinarians on working holiday visas may apply.
