We accept Imaging and Surgery from the Greater Wellington area. We have digital radiology and modern ultrasound equipment available for non invasive diagnosis. Our surgeons perform advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries such as TTOs, TTAs, fracture repairs and complex tumour removals.
We also provide a Wellington base for visiting veterinarians providing advanced ultrasound and surgical services.

Preparing your pet for referral

Catmed Feline Medicine Referrals
Dr. Pru Galloway is NZ’s only Feline Medicine Specialist, she runs a feline referral service ‘Catmed’ on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. She also offers phone/email consultations with veterinarians. Pru’s Specialist training is in internal medicine, she enjoys all aspects of feline medicine especially the challenge of cats with multiple health issues.
Imaging Referrals
Dr. Deborah Kirton is on site every Monday, Wednesday & Thursday for ultrasound referrals. She will send through a report on the day, again it is up to the referring veterinarian to communicate results and arrange ongoing care.
Surgical Referrals
Dr. John Wood is our referral surgical vet. John performs a wide variety of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries such as TTAs, TPOs, fracture management, TECAs, perineal hernias, perineal urethrostomies and more. Please contact us for cost estimates.
